Installation Instructions

Installation

• Switch the vehicle off and allow the electrical system to shut down before starting.
• Remove the instrument cluster using the correct Mercedes-Benz model-specific procedure.
• Disconnect the original instrument-cluster plug.
• Connect the module to the instrument-cluster side first.
• Align the white marker with Pin 1 where marked.
• Connect the original vehicle harness to the remaining module connector.
• Make sure all connectors are fully seated and do not force the plugs.
• Secure the wiring safely and refit the instrument cluster.
• Switch the vehicle back on and confirm normal cluster operation.

Mode / Operation

The Mercedes module is controlled through the vehicle controls and provides a normal setting plus vehicle-specific authorised test settings. Use the supplied instructions for the exact control method for this chassis and return the vehicle to the normal setting after testing.
