Installation Instructions

Installation

• Switch the ignition off and allow the vehicle electrical system to shut down before starting.
• Access the instrument cluster / driver display using the correct procedure for the Land Rover or Range Rover model.
• Disconnect the original cluster connector.
• Connect the LR 2 module inline using the original-style plug connections.
• No cutting or permanent modification of the vehicle wiring should be required.
• Make sure the connectors are fully seated and route the wiring so it cannot be trapped or strained.
• Refit the cluster and trim.
• Switch the vehicle back on and confirm the instrument display and normal vehicle functions operate correctly.

Important

• Defender, Discovery Sport, Evoque and Velar have different dashboard and cluster-access procedures.

The module provides vehicle-specific authorised test operation while retaining normal vehicle functionality where supported. Use the supplied product instructions for the exact control method and to return the system to normal operation after testing.
