How the mileage blocker works

Installation Instructions

Installation

• Switch the ignition off and allow the vehicle electrical system to shut down before starting.
• Access the Jaguar instrument cluster / speedometer using the correct procedure for the model.
• Disconnect the original instrument-cluster connector.
• Connect the LR 1 module inline between the vehicle wiring loom and the instrument cluster.
• The installation is plug-and-play and should not require cutting the original vehicle wiring.
• Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secure the module and wiring safely behind the cluster.
• Refit the cluster and trim.
• Switch the vehicle back on and confirm the instrument display and normal vehicle functions operate correctly.

Important

• Cluster access can differ between F-Pace, F-Type and XE models.

The module provides vehicle-specific authorised test operation while retaining normal vehicle functionality where supported. Use the supplied product instructions for the exact control method and to return the system to normal operation after testing.
