Installation Instructions

Installation

• Switch the ignition off and allow the vehicle electrical system to shut down before starting.
• Access the Audi instrument cluster using the correct A4/A5 B8 or Q5 8R trim-removal procedure.
• Disconnect the original cluster connector.
• Connect the module inline between the vehicle wiring loom and the instrument cluster.
• Use the Pin 1 / alignment markings where provided.
• The installation should be plug-and-play and should not require cutting the vehicle wiring.
• Ensure all connectors are fully seated, secure the wiring and refit the cluster.
• Switch the vehicle back on and confirm normal instrument-cluster operation.

Mode / Operation

Operation is controlled through the vehicle's normal controls and the product retains the selected setting. The exact control method varies by vehicle, cluster and software version; use the supplied vehicle-specific instructions for authorised off-road/dyno testing and for returning to normal operation.
