How the mileage blocker works

Installation Instructions

Installation

• Switch the vehicle off and allow the electrical system to shut down before starting.
• Access the MINI instrument cluster / driver display using the correct trim-removal procedure for the model.
• Disconnect the original cluster connector.
• Connect the module inline between the vehicle wiring loom and the instrument cluster using the original-style plug connections.
• No cutting or soldering of the vehicle wiring should be required.
• Ensure all connectors are fully seated and route the module wiring safely.
• Refit the instrument cluster and trim.
• Switch the vehicle back on and confirm the display and normal vehicle functions operate correctly.

Important

• Cluster access can differ between F54, F55, F56, F57 and F60 models.

Mode / Operation

The MINI version uses vehicle controls for authorised test-mode operation. Control behaviour varies between F54/F55/F56/F57/F60 and by software version, so use the supplied model-specific instructions. Return the system to its normal setting after testing.

Important Notes

• MINI F-chassis software/firmware changes can affect compatibility. Automatic start/stop functionality may be unavailable during authorised test use.
