Installation Instructions

Installation

• Switch the vehicle off and allow the electrical system to shut down before starting.
• Carefully remove the Mercedes-Benz W205-family instrument cluster using the correct trim-removal procedure.
• Disconnect the original cluster plug.
• Connect the MSB 4 module to the instrument-cluster side first.
• Align the white marker with Pin 1 where marked on the connector.
• Connect the original vehicle harness to the remaining module connector.
• Do not force the plug; if it does not seat correctly, check the orientation before continuing.
• Secure the module and wiring safely behind the cluster.
• Refit the instrument cluster and trim.
• Switch the vehicle back on and confirm the cluster and normal vehicle functions operate correctly.

The Mercedes module is controlled through the vehicle controls and provides a normal setting plus vehicle-specific authorised test settings. Use the supplied instructions for the exact control method for this chassis and return the vehicle to the normal setting after testing.

• Not compatible with the 2019 facelift configuration using the steering wheel with silver controls.
