Description

Overview

Our Porsche Cayman 982 Type 718 mileage blocker is a dedicated plug-in module designed for the Porsche Cayman 982 Type 718. It temporarily stops mileage (or kilometres) from being recorded while the vehicle is in motion, and is intended only for off-road use, dyno testing, and vehicle development or tuning.

Compatibility

This mileage blocker is compatible with:

  • Porsche Cayman 982 Type 718
  • For vehicles with the display as shown in the product images

If you are unsure whether your vehicle is compatible, please contact us with your VIN and a photo of your dashboard before ordering.

Key features

  • True plug-and-play installation – fits directly behind the cluster, with no cutting or soldering required.
  • OEM-style connectors – supplied with original-type plug connections for a secure, factory-style fit.
  • Control at the touch of a button – activate or deactivate the module with a button press, even while driving.
  • Designed for stable integration when correctly installed.
  • Memory of last setting – the module remembers whether it was on or off when the vehicle was last used.
  • Full functionality retained – the speedometer and driver assistance systems continue to operate normally.

How the mileage blocker works

The module connects inline with the vehicle’s instrument-cluster wiring using the supplied plug-and-play harness for authorised off-road, dyno and vehicle-development testing. When returned to normal operation, the vehicle behaves as standard.
